...are there too many of them these days?
Once upon a time, we had 2 minutes on Remembrance Day, and that was it. However, over the last few years they've been proliferating; there seems to be a silence for any high-profile death. I see that this weekend there'll be one at the Ipswich match in honour of the murdered women... my point is, that I feel people are railroaded into taking part in these silences. You look disrespectful if you don't stand stock-still and look contemplative.
Does anyone else agree that too many "tributes" make them all devalued?
