Now, this is important, it is 2006, and by now we should have the definitive answer to this question. for goodness sake, its at least 50 years since we stopped using the daily mirror, and then it was easy, 8 pieces to a page, a hole in the top left hand corner, a bit of string, and up on the nail.
the question that i crave the answer to is,
Should the loose end of a loo roll hang over the front, or, should it hang down the back?.
to attempt to further explain, and, so that you, the voter, has a full understanding of the question, were you to be sitting with the toilet roll holder on your left, pulling off of a sheet hanging loose from the front, would turn the roll in a clockwise direction.
therefore, and obviously, with the loose sheet hanging from the back of the roll the reverse of that would be correct, ie, anti clockwise.
were you to be sitting with the holder on your right, reverse the explanation in the first part of the statement above, to read anti clockwise, and, reverse the second part to read clockwise.
Now ignore both statements above if your holder is fitted to the loo door that is in front of you, in this scenario the sensible reply would be that hanging down the front places the loose sheet about 3 inches closer to you.
please, when considering where to place your vote, ignore, colour, width, length, total sheets used, thickness, and, for posh people, quilted.
